SAMH is an association dedicated to supporting mental health in Syria through awareness, training, and professional development, without providing direct clinical services.

Membership

You can apply through the online membership form and choose the appropriate membership type (Founding, Active, Honorary, or Affiliate) according to the association’s requirements.

If fees are delayed continuously (3 months to 1 year), membership may be revoked after official notice. Membership can be reinstated by paying the outstanding fees within the following year.

No, membership fees and donations are non-refundable, except if allocated to a designated support or pension fund.

Membership Termination & Suspension

 Membership ends in the following cases:

  • Voluntary resignation from the association.
  • Losing a membership eligibility criterion.
  • Board-issued termination decision.
  • Death.
  • Failure to pay subscription fees continuously (3 months – 1 year) after official notice.
  • Committing an act causing significant material or moral harm to the association.
  • Exploiting membership for personal gain.
  • Members are notified of termination decisions within 15 days of issuance.

Yes, if outstanding fees are paid within the following year.
